Description
A fantastic opportunity now exists for an ambitious insurance associate to join the Corporate/Commercial team of this leading offshore firm in Bermuda, In addition to the doing some general cross border general corporate transactions, the firm specifically requires someone with an insurance background as you will be advising insurance managers and brokers as to the establishment, compliance and business operations of insurance and reinsurance companies across multiple offshore jurisdictions.
The team primarily advise major New York and London finance houses, as well as Fortune 500 household names in relation to a complete range of insurance matters which include; captive formations, risk swaps, M&A, public offerings of start-up reinsurers, value-added wraps, catastrophe bonds, re-domiciliations, life insurance, regulatory compliance etc.
Previous exposure to insurance/re-insurance related work is a pre-requisite for this role.
Bermuda is a beautiful island with an abundance of stunning beaches, crystal clear water and palm trees, whilst still having access to a traditional English high street. In addition, Bermuda is the oldest self governing dependant territory of the UK and is politically and economically very stable.
