Description
The BVI office of this major offshore firm is looking to recruit an experienced commercial litigator/barrister for its highly regarded practice. The team handles a large percentage of the highest profile cross border cases in the region, which are mostly disputes relating to offshore structures, corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency, trusts, funds, shareholders disputes and asset tracing.
Whilst the work will be varied, candidates aren’t expected to have gained experience in all the areas listed above. More important will be a can-do attitude, strong technical ability and client handling skills. Candidates must be UK admitted and those with a top tier London background will be preferred. Those currently offshore, looking for a new challenge, are obviously also strongly encouraged to apply. A very attractive offshore package is on offer and will be paid commensurate with experience. Income tax (paid by the employee) in the BVI is just 8%.
