Offshore Legal has this week placed one finance candidate, however, we currently still have 9 live instructions (at 2-6PQE) for Corporate and Finance associates for major offshore firms across both Jersey and Guernsey. These are 100% real vacancies, hence this is a fantastic time for city associates to be looking for a new role in new surroundings. Successful associates can expect to continue to receive work of the highest quality, yet billable targets will be circa 1200-1300hrs. Yes you read that correctly!
Salaries will vary slightly from firm to firm, however, ultimately your net position should be improved as income tax is a flat 20% and your salary per hour worked will DRAMATICALLY improve!!!
First interviews are generally by telephone, whilst seconds are usually overnight visits/interviews on the respective islands, so those that aren’t that familiar with the Channel Islands, can get a better feel for the jurisdiction.
