Description
Offshore Legal has been instructed to source a 3-6 PQE associate for a major offshore firm’s busy corporate practice on Grand Cayman. As well as covering the usual M&A/JV’s etc, the nature of the jurisdiction means the team also advises as to the creation and administration of investment vehicles such as mutual funds, unit trusts, limited and general partnerships, as well as ancillary matters, including custodial, administration and investment management agreements. Previous funds experience would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite. The firm is more interested in recruiting a top tier city (London/Dublin/Sydney/Melbourne/Auckland) associate with solid academics, whether they have a specialist corporate, funds, private equity background or a combination of all three. Associates already offshore (Caribbean/Channel Islands etc) are also strongly encouraged to apply.
