Description
Two major offshore firms are currently looking to recruit UK Barristers for their BVI litigation practices. The teams predominantly handle high profile cross border disputes, mostly relating to offshore structures, corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency, asset tracing, trusts, funds and shareholders disputes.
Whilst each role will be varied, candidates aren’t expected to have gained experience in all the areas listed above. More important will be a can-do attitude, strong technical ability and client handling skills. Candidates must be UK admitted and ideally from leading commercial sets in the city or major regional centres. A very attractive offshore package is on offer and will be paid commensurate with experience. Income tax (paid by the employee) in the BVI is just 8%.
